Market Beats 12/14: Differentiated Industry Groups

At the end of the morning session, VN-Index increased by 1.06 points, reaching 1,477.27 points; HNX-Index dropped 1.93 points to 455.62 points. Market breadth ended the morning in favor of the sellers with 485 losers and 387 gainers. In the VN30 basket, red was dominating with 18 losers, 9 gainers and 3 standstill stocks.

The trading volume on VN-Index recorded in the morning session continued to improve, reaching 617.5 million shares equal 17.3 trillion dong. HNX-Index recorded a trading volume of 68.5 million units, with a trading value of VND 1.8 trillion.

HPG, DIG and BCM tickers have the most positive impact on VN-Index. In which, the iron and steel giant HPG contributed the most to the index with 1.8 points increasing. On the other side, VIC, GVR and GAS were the main factors that slowed the index’s gain.

With HNX-Index, the adjustment of the Heavyweight stocks like IDC, DTK were the main factors causing this index to drop. Meanwhile, on the other side, the green color of PTI, PVI and THD was not enough for the index to reverse again.

Industrial park real estate stocks diverged in this morning session. On the upside, TID took the lead when it still gained more than 10% from the beginning, BCM and ITA recorded green color over 3%, SZC, VC3 and VGC increased slightly below 1%. On the other side, IDC adjusted down 4.1%, D2D, KBC and GVR decreased by more than 1%, codes SIP, SNZ, LHG… fell below 1%.

Iron and steel stocks recovered strongly after a long series of disappointing sessions. Specifically, HSG hit the ceiling at 7%, the liquidity in this ticker reached more than 4.5 million units and had a significant improvement compared to the previous session. NKG and POM also ended the morning session in purple, HPG up 3.3%, VIS up 1.9%…

Construction materials are currently the fastest growing industry in the market with an increase of 2.8%. On the contrary, other financial is currently the largest decliner with a decrease of 1.23%.

Foreign investors were net sellers of 580 billion dong on HOSE and continued to be net buyers of 12.6 billion dong on HNX. In which, HPG and GEX were the two most sold stocks on HOSE. IDC is the most net bought by foreign investors on HNX .

10:30: Steel stock has bottomed?

VN-Index there was a correction after the sublimation phase at the beginning of the session. The highlight of the market in the morning session is the positivity of steel stocks. As of 10:25 a.m., VN-Index has only increased by more than 2 points and is currently moving towards the reference level. Meanwhile, HNX-Index is trading below this level.

VN30-Index regained the green color after a period of diving below the reference. The stocks in the basket VN30 are having a divergence with 14 gainers, 15 losers and 1 standstill. Leading the increase in the basket was

HPG when climbing more than 4%. It was followed by POW with an increase of nearly 3%. Along with that is the green color from PLX, HDB, and MSN codes. On the other side, PDR, GAS, KDH were the biggest losers in the basket.

In the construction materials industry, steel stocks are trading very actively. Prominent among them are NKG, HSG and POM. These codes also climbed impressively and are showing purple color during the session. Big man HPG is also doing 4% better. Has steel stock made a bottom? Meanwhile, the group of cement stocks are showing the same red color. HT1 fell more than 3%, BCC dropped more than 1%.

Agriculture – forestry – fishery continues to grow well and is one of the fastest growing industries in the market. HAG, SIF and BAF are all hitting the ceiling. HNG stock also progressed well with an increase of nearly 5%.

Meanwhile, the utility industry was quite bleak. DTK dropped nearly 7%, IDC dropped nearly 3 %, big guy GAS down more than 1%. On the contrary, stocks POW are still gaining well at 2.78%, NT2 ticking up nearly 2%, BWE, TDM, PPC are all in green. light.

Open the door: VN-Index procrastination unpredictable

The stock with the most negative impact on the market is GAS, NVL and HPG, when together pull down VN-Index down more than 1 point. Meanwhile, BCM and VCB are the two stocks with the best impact on the overall market.

Agriculture – forestry – fishery continues to fly high on the wings of HAG and HNG. The strong momentum of this duo is helping the group to gain the most in the whole market, at more than 2%. Besides, two industry codes BAF and SJF are also gaining in full range at the beginning of the session.
